The ambience is great, definitely worth a visit. The food was unfortunately not convincing, looked very good, unfortunately it was only two stars. A good three stars on average.

Unfriendly service despite making a reservation after 45 minutes still no table. Why reserve at all? No info, no thanks, not recommended

Great, authentic eatery that perfectly reflects the spirit of Swabian cuisine. The best liver sausage I've had in a long time (and I live in the Palatinate!). And the cook was even able to convince my two children of sour tripe 👏👏

Amazing Swabian restaurant. It’s worth the travel to this lovely place the food it’s great and the atmosphere is also really authentic. However, the very best part was the service. The waitresses were always smiling, and they were more than kind and nice to us! Thanks you all so much! :)

Beautiful and charming restaurant, we ate very well! Many of the doors have homemade spätzle and maultaschen, very abundant dishes and fast service with kind and smiling waiters.

A friendly and dedicated service. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and all in a great atmosphere. The playground right next door (unfortunately a street in between) is small and fine and is great in the shade.

Very good Swabian cuisine. The waitresses are very friendly. The decor is very rustic and also a bit special, as there is a tree in the restaurant, which goes very well with the decor. The food is delicious, I can highly recommend the onion roast. A visit to the krabba-nescht is a must after every hike. What we didn't know, unfortunately, is that you could have sat outside in the back yard. It would have been very nice if the waitress had pointed this out.

Waited 1 and a half hours for our food, and when it did arrive, I received the tiniest 2 pieces of schnitzel with a slice of tomato for 10.30 euros...Please improve service time and portion sizes.

They provide high quality food for good prices and if it weren't enough, the service is also impeccable. I loved the place! Can only highly recommend, if your aim is to try Badisch, local food.

Very nice and friendly service! Smiles permanently, can always recommend something or has a fun stock. The food tastes fabulous, another visit must be and it will follow. The atmosphere is unique, there is no second time! So worth seeing and worth a visit! The price performance ratio is in the balance, compensates in any case with the portions!

This place really is something to write home about. Painstakingly decorated with a tree in the centre, this place takes German gemütlichkeit to a new level and really is worth sitting inside when the weather is inviting you ' d rather sit on the outdoors patio. The food is excellent, though the espresso can be easily skipped. Try the home made Black Wood whiskey or get yourself a bottle to drink at home.

It's an incredible place. Very traditional Schwäbische style restaurant, tucked away in a little village. Excellent food, beer and service. There is a huge outside patio for seating when the weather is good. The inside is vast with cool nooks and crannies with seating in creative places.

The place is gorgeous, but the service is below average nobody speaks English and the staff isn't helpful or friendly. The food was good, we had a pork knuckle and beef steak.

Service was very good. The atmosphere was great. But the food was good and average. The spatzle and maltaschen was excellent, while the beef and pork only average. We did have a great time.
